Notes | Reference:
Norway is famous for their Viking ancestry and the design also utilizes
a typeface reminscent of Norse runes. The lithograph portrays the Norse
god Odin, who sacrificed one eye in trade for wisdom. The ravens Huginn
(Old Norse for "thought" and Muninn (Old Norse for "memory") who tell
Odin all that they see and hear while flying above the world of Midgard
are also featured, traditionally perched upon Odin's shoulders. |
